The avilon ROBOTICS team won the Taiwan UAS Integrated Pilot Program: IPP competition.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Transportation and Communication of Taiwan on April 22, 2021. Besides this, we are the only team capable of successfully carrying out a mission. Using a drone, we can transport goods across an island and return promptly. We have won the prize. The mission was to successfully deliver a 9.8 kg item over a distance of 13.6 km in just 16 minutes, while a ferry crossing the rapids may take up to an hour. The success in this mission is a significant step in creating pilotless drones in the aviation and transportation industries, making it easier and more reliable for people to use drones for work.
