In the event of a total flight failure, the drone’s parachute will deploy to slow it down and safely land it. In addition to these safety features, Drone delivery has implemented additional procedures for this trial. A skilled and licensed pilot is on hand to remotely control the drone, and trained spotters are stationed along the route and at the drop off point to monitor the flight and alert the pilot in case of problems.
